Washed four pairs of pants yesterday and tried them on fresh out of the dryer. Two are loose enough that I put them in the bag to take to Crowded Closet (local thrift store run by Mennonites). Two pair fit better so that I don't have to lie down on the bed to zip them up. :)
Today I took that bag to the thrift store (had another pair of fat jeans in it) ... and today happens to be their monthly half-price off everything sale. So, I got a couple pair of new-to-me pants that hug my curves like a race car (for $4 total!).
I passed on a cute XL Hawaiian-print shirt, because come time to wear it this summer I will not be XL. I plan to also have to replace the pants I got today by summer, but I won't care because this thrift shop is so darn reasonable (and I've put the third Thursday of each month on my calendar to check out their sale.)
(Really, if you've got a Mennonite thrift shop in your area, check it out!)
