Over the weekend I actually spent time with grown ups that didn't have kids with them. Which ment auntie didn't have to be on kid watch and could relax.
One of my friends has a friend visiting the island so I got to be a tourist for the weekend. We went to the Pearl Harbor memorial, a luau, and other fun things. Well included in these adventures was many of adult beverages and limited food. In my mind I was like sure I didn't eat much maybe that will balance out my calories. ha.
Saturday was Pearl Harbor and the luau. They both were awesome and the day was beautiful.
Well yesterday was national margarita day and again limited food to more adult beverages. After spending most of the day watching the ladies wait and then jump out of a plane we hung out on the beach.(beer is always necessary while sitting on the beach) After watching the sunset and the playful whales spalshing around in the ocean we had to celebrate national margarita day. By this point the only thing I had eaten was a breakfast burrito at 9 am so it was on. For dinner I had amazing ahi fagitas which were on the less bad side. Then shared a 56oz. margarita with 2 other ladies. Pretty much the best dinner and company I have had in months.
Note. I did not jump out of plane because I was WAY over the weight limit. I sort of wanted to after we were there.(fat kid problems)
So I weighed myself this morning. Yup after this weekend of fun and relaxation I gained 5 pounds. Seriously how does that happen? I mean I know how it happened, but it is hard to constantly be the person that says, no I don't want this or that, all the time. I was not geneticly blessed with the body that burns off a weekend of relaxation.
I officially can't hang with the skinny fat. When I spent time with other's who were working on themselves and who were trying to make a change I did well. I still had fun even with limitations. One day I will figure this out.
For now I will keep it moving and do lots of kettlebell swings this week.
