I AM SO GLAD TO HEAR FROM YOU! Gosh, I started almost panicking after not hearing back from you. So sorry about Baxter. I had a miniature schnauzer that was in diapers her last year of life and was very fortunate to have a vet who has been with the family for 30 years. He told me the dog would hold on until she felt I was ready - wow, talk about guilt. She had pancreatic cancer, never sick a day iner life, until she was sick! We waited until everyone was home so we could all go and love her through being euthanized. I continue to have her ashes by my PC - they are family in ways, I suppose, many don't understand so, long way around saying, I get your grief! So happy to have you back with us and well.
