I woke up at 6:30 today. Got my 7 hours of sleep. Today was also weigh in day for me!! I've met my goal of 83.3 a week in advance! Go me! Anyway that happened.

I got to school and taught 4 out of the 6 periods today so the day went by pretty quickly. Lunch was good too. But I have failed to mention the God awful weather.  Today from 9 am till now it's been snowing!!!!!! SNOWING. I thought we were done with this but noooooo. And really?! It had to be today? When I had my 8km run scheduled? I was not a happy camper. If it turned to rain I resolved to go outside and run. But it continued to snow. Let me tell you. If you think running in the rain sucks you need to try running in the snow. When the Snow doesn't stick to the floor it's actually pretty beautiful but if you are outside and there is more than an inch of snow it is not pleasant. The amount of slush and the likelihood of you slipping just makes it not worth it. So I begrudgingly accepted that I would not be running today. Guess what I did after I made that decision? I made chocolate mug cake. (Quick side note: my monthly visitor decided to pay me a visit today. So the chocolate cravings were super real.) 

 
I wish that I could explain to you what was going on in my head. If I had to guess it would be that I accepted I wouldn't be going about today as planned so eff it might as well treat myself. 
 
The cake was disappointingly not good. And I didn't feel too great because not only had I surpassed my calorie limit but I spent them on something that didn't have many nutrients. It was not fuel for my body but a craving. 
 
After I got up from bed I decided that I was NOT going to have my day end this way. I just signed up for Jillian Michaels' diet bet for goodness sakes!!! Went to drink some coffee and I banged out two hours of dancing like a maniac to burn a total of 797 calories. BOOM. I was dancing so crazy in fact that I got a small blood blister on my right big toe. Ouch. But like, I was having so much fun dancing I didn't even notice the pain really till I was in the shower. From here on out anytime I even THINK about making an excuse to not work out when I am scheduled to do so I will remember today. A day that I thought was lost. I turned it around. I didn't let myself make excuses. I kicked butt. 
 
If you feel tired and you don't think you can do that work out drink a cup of coffee. Try it. I get so energized the only thing I can think about is moving my body. Unless I am at work. Then I am just able to get through the day.

  • Dinner: Chocolate Mug Cake, Almond Milk, Baked Chicken
  • Snacks: Bread from bakery, coffee with almond milk

Sleep: 7 hours 

Water: 3 Liters

Excercise: 2 hours of dancing!
