REFLECTIONS: Along with exercise & getting enough rest, our diet is an important part of a healthy weight loss journey. I REALLY enjoy sweets (sugar) & salty snacks (as many do); & would sometimes bake a delicious childhood dessert & mostly eat it by myself over a few days' time. Also, I would buy different bags of my fave candies & big bags of potato chips or Doritos, etc. and devour them in 2 or 3 days. Not a good look (literally & figuratively)... Sugar and salt had me. But, having those things in such abundance was not good for me & I needed to make some major changes. Within the last 5 years, at one time I was the heaviest ever in my life; felt more lethargic; broke out in acne (more); and just didn't feel my best sometimes even on my good days. It was way past time for me to make adjustments-- not only to my meals but also to my mindset. The time was/is (over the past year) NOW to make those changes. My mind is set on a better me—inside and out! #feelingrevived
