I am participating in two DietBets simultaniously. One is for a month, the other is of a six month duration. Might as well be all-in, right???
The funny thing is, I'm losing weight. Not huge losses (it hasn't been that long, after all,) but the number on my scale is slowly creeping down. That's pretty cool, because that is exactly the direction I was hoping it would creep.
I deleted the walking app from my iPhone. It was inaccurate (When I walk a half mile, DON'T list it as point one mile!) and I'm not as patient and understanding (and rational) when slightly hungry all the time. So out with that app and on with the DietBet app. I can use it to update my weight, see my games, and, just by seeing the app icon on my phone home screen, be reminded that I'm making progress by DOING SOMETHING about my weight.
So, it's all good.
