It comes down to choices. If you've got some disposable cash go ahead and buy clothes as a reward for doing well on your weight loss goals. (If you're going into credit card debt that's different and just stop.) Yes, it might be spending more money than you need on clothes, but if that reward helps you get to your goals, use it. It'll be cheaper to spend it on clothes now than health issues in your future. And when it comes time that you've become too small to fit into the larger clothes don't let them hang around in your closet. Convince yourself you'll never need them again and make someone happy by donating them. (It is tax season you know)
