So. This weekend I went kind of calorie crazy lol. I unintentionally took a break from logging all of my food. YIKES. I didn’t gain much only about .5kg BUT I really need to be on top of logging my food. It is how I become aware of what I eat! The biggest reason why I think I didn’t log my food is because I literally ate outside for three days. I only ate food that I prepared twice in three days. Logging is hard when you don’t know how many calories are in what people give you! Also there was drinking involved…But I can explain!

On Friday (Day 54) my nutrition was pretty good until we had to go to my teachers’ welcome party. The food was delicious and fresh. I wouldn’t deem anything unhealthy. It was the drinking that wasn’t to good. Between me and two other teachers we drank a bottle of wine (mostly me though lol). There were two glasses of wine after that at different bars but I made SURE to stay hydrated. Drank 2 liters of water that night.

That Saturday morning (Day 55) I woke up like new! I was feeling pretty good. But I also had to get ready for a baseball game that I was going to. I ate breakfast that I made and that’s it. After that I ate pretty shitty food. I ate a hot dog, fried noodles, fried chicken, French fries, you name it I ate it. Please don’t think I ate a full order lol. I literally had like 3 pieces of fried chicken and like 5 fries but still its not food that I would usually eat. Again the fact that I had been drinking didn’t help. I think throughout the game I drank about 2 liters of beer. I’m not joking lol. It was a three hour game. And we lost. T.T But anyway. I wish now that I hadn’t let go so much but I don’t regret it. I know I will get right back on track and this weekend I’m not going out so I will be okay.

Sunday (Day 56) I ate out the whole day. I had some friends sleep over and we went out for lunch. We ate really healthily so I am proud of that. Then right after I had to go to Hanami. Hanami is Japanese cherry blossom viewing festival. Where people eat and drink, a lot. I am happy to report that I didn’t have one drop of alcohol! Literally the thought of it kind of made me sick so I wasn’t really fighting an urge to drink. What I did do was eat a lot. I ate so much that by the end of it my stomach hurt. >.< It’s safe to say that I didn’t eat anything after that. I was full for the rest of the day. I didn’t really eat “bad” food at hanami, we had things like beef, squid, tofu, and takoyaki. But even good things in excess are bad. So there you have it, my not so great, but great weekend. I had fun but it’s time to get back on track!

o    Dinner: Japanese Course Meal, about 5-6 glasses of wine

o    Snack: Yogurt and Jam

o    Breakfast: Banana Pancakes, Greek yogurt and frozen blueberries

o    Lunch: Hot Dog, Yakisoba, 2 Liters of beer (lol, I still can’t believe I drank that much)

o    Dinner: Went to a bar and had bar food like fried tofu, chicken, potatoes and grilled chicken

Sleep: 10 hours

Water: 2 Liters
