This is hysterical, and I totally know how you feel! There is a manager at my work who walks around with a container full of fun-sized candy bars every day, and tries every trick to get you to take one: "You deserve this" "Just one isn't a big deal" "Every one needs one today" "This will go perfect with your coffee/cucumber/salad/water, etc." "You look tired and need a pick-me-up." The worst part is, when I was in the middle of a great stretch of working out and eating right, I finally said, "I'll have one if you do, too." I had never seen him eat one. He says, "No, I don't eat these, I'm watching my weight." I'm convinced its some weird fetish, like a sick domination tactic, and he gets this perverse pleasure into emotionally manipulating people into eating them when he won't.UGGGHHH. Anyway - I love, love, love this post. I get it. Especially in a small office! I'd say "Be the bigger person, ignore her, blah blah blah" but that's not my style. I say BRING IT ON! :) :)
bahhhhh likes this comment.
