Hello, darlings! My name is Misty. I am a 33 year old Veteran of the US Army, Registered Nurse, and Cyclist.
If you've read my profile you know I'm a sucker for chocolate covered nuts of all kinds. Yep, that and sugar-filled coffee drinks will be the death of me and this healthy lifestyle. I'm looking at the countdown to our first weigh-in like, "Woohoo! I have a few more days of stuffing my tummy full of yummy delights!"
We all know this isn't how I really think... It's called food addiction [insert shameful face here]. I’m always finding wonderful excuses to indulge, e.g., good nursing shift, bad nursing shift, strong road ride (cycling), and bonkers road ride. I need to find another way!
I’m not starting this adventure to lose weight; I’m trying to create and keep a healthy lifestyle. I could lose a good 5 lbs to look and feel better, but the whole purpose of starting this journey with you all is to hopefully learn to keep this healthy lifestyle and rid myself of this annoying food addiction.
