Was tired this morning, almost didn't follow through on my committments. Falling into my old pattern is much easier. I thought about my committment to DietBet and all the people who are trying to better themsleves. So, I headed for a good local gym and joined. I had gone to the county pool, but slipped on the tile and hated to go there because of the slippery floors. So, I though joining a nice gym, that was safer for walking when wet and it was worth it. I had been spending that much $'s on lousy food choices and fast food. So i am making a trade, expensive gym for no fast food.
Got into the pool and swam for about 30 minutes and walked in the water and did water weights for another hour. I haven't gotten in the pool for about 6 weeks, so it felt good.
I plan on taking this one day at a time, eating a diet full of vegtables and other healthy foods. My goal is to cut down on the white starches - bread, white rice, and processed foods. I want to make this a life long habit, not just for three days, a week, a month, but for good. I want to be around when I am 70 for my kids and grandkids. I worked really hard in my life and am still working full time and on my own business. I have been successful in school, business and raising a family. Now it's my turn. I can do this!!
