I love chocolate and since I have been very dedicated to my diet I have been trying to find ways to incorperate chocolate into my life in a healthier way. So when I was craving Brownies I decided that I was not going to break down a make a batch full of refined sugar and fat, I was going to make a brownie that I could eat that would not break my diet. Although I am still in my testing phase of the recipe my first try was very successful, and I would like to share it with you!

For This Recipe I used:

1 can of chickpeas

4 Tablespoons of Cocoa Powder

1 tsp of baking powder

1 tsp of baking soda

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp cinnamon

1/3 cup of honey

1/3 cup of melted coconut oil

1/4 cup of dark Chocolate Chips. ( depending on how healthy you want to make these brownies you can add less or more)

1/4 cup of unsweetned coconut

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Grease or line a 8x8 pan.

3. Combine and mix all the ingredients (except for the the dark chocolate chips) in a food processor or high powered blender.

4. Once mixture is combined, stir in the dark chocolate chips.

5. Pour mixture in 8x8 pan, making sure the mixture is equally distributed.

6. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

7. I sliced them into 9 very large pieces but feel free to the cut them however you like.
