Hi Lexi and all, I had a very good week 1 with nutrition and a win on the scale, which I am very proud of, for sure! I remain cautiously optimistic since I am battling the desire to binge every day and am working on breaking some really ingrained behavior patterns to use food to cope and numb. And, I am in a crazy stressful life transition. I signed up for this Diet Bet to get a jumpstart and to have some support and accountability so I dont literally go off the deep end with binging as I so easily could. I have walked this road before and thus I am also working on mindfulness and self-compassion this time.

Re: exercise, my goal is simple and I didn't hit it last week so a restart for this week--I need to move/walk more. My goals for this second week: 1) Take one day at a time nutritionally and keep up the mindfulness when I want to binge, 2) Walk 10-15 min every day! 3) Keep posting here and checking in as I know the isolation and lonliness is leading to my binging along with the cirumstance stress. Thanks for cheering me on. I really appreciate the support. And I know I can do this since, like Lexi, I lost and regained and she is my inspiration to lose again and take it one day at a time.
