Hey Amber...I started my weight loss at 219.8 in January and am now down to 174. I did it mostly through walking 10 to 12 miles a day. Congrats on doing your first half marathon...what an amazing accomplishment that is. Wish I could do the running thing, but have torn ligaments in both of my ankles. You are certainly an inspiration to many. Keep up the good work and keep on running!

Amazing how you've lost 9lb in one day, what's your secret?

it wasn't all in one day. I weighed in like 2 days before the thing started so I had already started losing weight by the time it actually started. I also haven't been able to workout in several weeks so I think it shocked my body. Kinda like how someone who goes from a fairly sedentary lifestyle drops large numbers when they first start working out/eating right.
