Hi there. I would say that 2014 wasn't kind to me. I ended up with 4 surgeries total on my leg and exercise wasn't happening much and no tennis for sure. But ... I'm the heaviest that I've been EVER and I'm determined to make a change. I'm doing the Whole 30 diet, which is a cleansing diet, good for joint pain with a side affect of weight loss ... hopefully. I just started it monday and it is tough. So many food changes. No dairy, no sugar or sweetner, no alcohol, no grains, no processed food. You really have to plan your meals and have the right stuff in the house. Thank GOD you can eat salt!

I also asked my kids to get me a fitbit for Christmas. They got me "UP." It is similar and I"ve been wearing it since monday as well. I hope I can do the Whole 30 thing till Feb 1st and see if it helps the joint pain and initiates some weight loss. I know the first thing I'm adding back in. Creamer for my coffee! I don't really like the taste of coffee unless it has french vanilla creamer in it and then I love it. Needless to say, now I have 50 lbs to lose. Oh well ... got to start sometime. I'm tired of being fat and not looking good in my clothes. How have you been doing? I see you have had a slow, yet very steady weight loss path. Good for you. It is so hard to stick with it. How much do you have to lose?

What is going on with you girl? I am hoping that you are having a healthy goal oriented week-end. Hey, check out Kool Kats under the community groups. Doesn't cost anything and I think we could get a good thing going there. I know it has helped me get moving and have some enthusiasm!

Hi Becky R. - I haven't had cancer but I have had a groin injury that has derailed me for over a year as I continue to watch the scale escalate. I marked you as a friend - I hope you don't mind - and I hope we can give each other support as we struggle to do lots by diet and some by modified exercise. We STILL can do it:)
