Hi Kate! Saw your comment on someone else's comment about your treat meals. I love the idea of treat meals and they seem to be the way to stay sane and actually make this a lifestyle not just a temporary fix and all the good stuff. I have lost some weight this year and I'm thrilled with that. My problem is when I have a single treat meal it tends to slip into more than just the one meal... Ugh. I'm thinking I just need to schedule my treats better so I know when they start and when they end, then I can focus. I'm worried I still won't stick to it. I'm wondering you ever have trouble with that?

Hi Elizabeth - I actually plan my entire week each Sunday and always schedule my treat meal in advance so I know exactly when I'm having it, so it sounds like you are on the right track. I like to reserve it for a night out with my husband so it gives me something to look forward to. Something just clicked for me this time around and for the first time in years (maybe 10), I am extremely disciplined and very compliant with my nutrition. Believe me, I know how hard this can be. I failed the first 2 DietBet transformers by the third round. I have recently (January) started following a program called the MAX Challenge. These centers exist in NJ, Staten Island, NY or the Sacramento, CA area. If you are in any of these areas, check this program out. It has added years to my life.
