Thank you. No one could have told me otherwise, with that said, I was terrified going into this half. Every run is so different, some days are awesome some days my runs are brutal. I have learned its a mental game and to seek and fulfill my runs/goals, personally need something to shoot for. With that, it's my family. And they always come to my races. I was able to text and run the whole half sending pictures along my route to my husband who was waiting with our 3 girls at the finish. Mind you, I was up at 2 am so nervous I couldn't finish, so hang in there, train and just know your body and pace yourself. Good luck, it's the most amazing feeling once you finish. P.s GU a mile 6, holy cow the stuff works and a little Gatorade at some water stops. I also carry my own water bottle.
