I have it too and find that when I eat a bit more than the Fitness Pal app suggests, my weight drops more rapidly. I also started to do interval cardio and less of it so I don't burn muscle - just carbs and fat. I am also older so it's more difficult. FitnessPal suggested 1350 per day and a trainer told me I need at least 1500 a day. Just my $.02. Keep going!

I have hypothyroidism as well. A majority of the cases of hypo is caused by Hashimoto's. It basically means your immune system is attacking your thyroid. I highly suggest you google Hashimoto's 411. They also have Facebook group. It was a HUGE help for me. The most important factors for hashi's is to eliminate gluten, supplement with vitamin D, and figure out your food sensitivities. A lot of the ladies there follow a paleo style diet. However I only eat plants so I get A LOT of carbs and I'm losing anywhere from 1-4 lbs a week. Everyone is different! Good luck!
