I've been working on my walking pace, figuring the only way I could ever get in the kind of mileage you clock is to amp up my pace. Last week I clocked 5 miles and never dropped below 15 min./mile -- one split was even 13.5min/mile!! Thanks again for inspiring me to walk and walk fast!!

Haha! 4 miles an hour is great--that's averaging 15 minutes per mile. My husband has very long legs, so anything under 15 minutes/mile for me happens when I'm trying to keep up with him!

Sent you walking shoes (well, they call them running shoes) 'cause I'm thinking you're wearing out many pairs with all your walking :-) I'm taking your advice about trying to get in more walking around the house and in general on top of one solid walk a day...

I've been bumbling about on the site, too. To read a blog entry, you go to the same page as where the person's cheerboard resides, and there are 3 "tabs" to the left of the icons for Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. The first tab is for the blog.
I just found you can send "gifts" from your dashboard --seems we get 5 gifts free and then need to buy more.

..and my phone and iPad. Makes it so easy to see how my activity level relates to my weight. I've lost 20 lbs since last fall, just increasing my steps per day and making sure my calories IN are slightly less than my calories burned.
