Francy, thank you so much for writing this!
Amongst all these, what I've found most helpful for myself is telling my significant other what I'm doing. How much weight I want to lose, what I'm about to do for a workout, and what I've eaten in the day. It keeps me accountable, and it enables him to give me the support I need from him. Sometimes, just him listening is the support I need. Other times he gives me little jewels and tells me that he's proud of me. That makes it all the better, you know?

One of the things I wish Biggest Loser the TV series did more is emphasize the importance of nutrition. They do it, but like, so little and far in between; 90% of the episode is filled with tears, nearly broken limbs and sweaty muscle building, and then maybe some guilting and shaming for bad food choices and some sort of half-assed attempt to go over calorie counting. I feel like they've really missed an opportunity to educate about different food styles and diets vs. the fitness seen.

I'm finding it really difficult to only weigh myself once a week, I'm really on top of my nutrition logging and I'm moving around more than usual in my daily life and it's making me eager to see the numerical progress. Any tips?
