Thanks for checking in. I hope your holidays have been great. I always get a little depressed this time of the year. So I have to say I kind of gave up on eating healthy and exercising. And it sure showed when I got on the scales this morning. But, that is behind me now and I'm ready to move on.

Thanks Heidi for the cheer. I am finally feeling like I've got my game back on. I had a rough go for a while. I'm kind of excited to get on the scales in the morning to see where I'm at. I'm feeling the motivation to work at it again. How has your week gone? I see that you've lost some weight. Good Job!

Thanks for the message. This month has not been my time for success. I will actually end this game a pound higher than I started. But I'm O.K. with that. I think losing 25 pounds in the 2 previous months was a good start and that I just needed to relax a bit. I have been looking into a 6 month game. I've never competed in one but am seriously looking into it. Thanks for your support. How are things going for you?

How are things going? Are you getting in your exercise? How's your water intake. I find that is a big thing for me. The more water I drink the better I feel. I also think I want to snack less when I'm staying well hydrated.

I'll be honest. I'm struggling. I haven't been eating very healthy like. It always seems like I do this. I get a good start and then hit a rut. I'll get over it. It just takes me awhile. Yes the pool is great for me. 18 months ago I had a total knee replacement. Before that the pool was about all I could do. I also have a foot that gives me a bunch of trouble. I call it my "itous" foot. Tendinitous, arthritis and others. When it flares up walking in the water is about all I can do. Good days . . . weather and foot . . . I do get outside and walk.

Heidi, How has today gone? I haven't seen any exercise mentioned for today. I need to start logging food again. I hate doing it. It's so hard to try and cook from scratch and then enter it. I'm to lazy. When I make a batch of soup I don't want to take the log every little item in the soup.

Hi MJ, thanks for checking in. Today has gone good. I did my workout today even though I was so tired from a lack of sleep. I haven't figued out how to do the logging of food from scratch yet. I guess that says a lot about my ability to cook haha! A lot of my meals are quick since I have limited time but I've found a few healthy choice brand meals that are pretty good.

Thank you! I look forward hearing about your workouts. :) I've started Jillian Michael's beginner shred dvd. Today was day 3. I'm also trying to eat better. Logging my calories on myfitnesspal has helped me realize that I'm actually not eating enough. Going to the dr and having her use the "O" word really kicked me in gear.
