I use Calorie Count which shows me my net calories at the end if each day. Because of the amount I'm trying to lose, I need to burn 1250 calories more than I eat. So if I'm super hungry and I eat more, then I have to bust my butt more too! To lose a pound a week, you'll want to burn 500 calories more than you eat. Calorie Count also accounts for the calories your body burns just being alive (breathing, digesting etc) so I feel it's a pretty accurate number to go by :D. I hope that helps!
