- Hello everyone & welcome! For those of you who may not know me - Hi, my name is Lexi AKA Fatgirlfedup! I joined my first Dietbet game 1/1/2016 when I set a New Years Resolution to lose weight. Dietbet helped me to stay accountable while I shed 312lbs in just 2 years with a diet of more protein, veggies and less carbs combined with 30 mins of exercise on the elliptical. I weighed 485lbs at the time, but we all start somewhere! I know Dietbet works and that's why I host! A few things to start our game:
- If this is your first game, welcome to what could be the first day of the rest of your life! I am so proud of you already for taking charge of your health and that makes you a winner in my book. Together we have already shed thousands of lbs this year & built a community! If you aren't new here thank you for continung your journey with us, we're so glad you're back and proud of you for contining to fight for your health!
- TAKE PHOTOS. Before photos are SO important and I wish I had taken more. Trust me, you will want them even if you don't think you will.
- TRACK & smaller portions! I use the free myfitnesspal and it helped me to learn daily about nutrition labels including how much hidden sugar, sodium to make you hold water weight, and calories were in different foods. I also used smaller plates to mentally trick myself into eating less.
- WATER! Water is important during you journey & can help in so many ways including to keep you full longer, help with metabolism, and more!
- MOVE! Every step counts and even if you start walking it will make a difference! Start where you can.

- INVITE. Feel free to invite friends, family, or even coworkers. We will have others joining us for 14 days and you never know who our game may help!
