Ohhhhh that is a real issue. on one hand yum on both accounts he cooks and is 6'3" lol but on the other hand hmmmm belly fat is just not that cute at a certain point. I'm torn for you but I'm sure for both yall health he will conform at some point. Good luck

Can you turn it into a challenge? I mean if recipes are too restricting can you give him five ingredients and a list of "do not use" and challenge is creativity and cooking abilities to make something delicious and healthy. Maybe he will find this super annoying or maybe he will like it. I wouldn't do it for every meal but maybe he could make the meal just for you and have 4 servings. Then you could eat one that night and save the others for the rest of the week. You would be only eating his cooking 3 nights a week and your healthy surprise that he made the rest of the time. It would be a start in the right direction if he likes the idea and sticks to the "do not use" list.
