Ugh, SO TRUE! I had this happen once. In hindsight I think it was a bad fashion choice on my part (the shirt I was wearing did look kinda maternity...) but still. People are trying to be nice and end up saying something that will echo in your head for weeks or months. Don't make assumptions people!
