Hey girl!! I definitely eat every 3-4 hours. I haven't perfected a pre-race or pre-run snack at all, even though I've been racing for over 8 years now. Some of my favorite things (HEALTHY) to eat though are PickyBars (like Larabars), sunflower seeds, any kind of dried fruit, coconut ice cream, and green smoothies. I know a lot of people are on the green smoothie kick lately...but they are actually really good and you can make them super healthy. My favorite trick for keeping the consistency nice is using a full frozen banana. Good luck and keep in touch!!
