You remind me of myself like if I have any type of injuries I rarely take rest days. It's like a habit for me now to stay active. But if you're burning a lot of calories like that your body needs more fuel (calories in) to burn fat or else it'll hold on to it. Coming from experience...like 1500 calories (for example) is low when you've burned over 2,000 calories in exercise because your deficit would be -500. But as I can tell it seems like you're very knowledgeable in fitness as well :).
