Travis, that is great!! I have found my kids slowly following in my footsteps too. I was lucky when they were younger, they would choose the fresh fruit over the processed snacks. until they stayed with grandma over night, I have been fighting it ever since. I now just make sure there are healthy choices in the fridge and on the counter and focus on my choices. We have a trip coming up in a couple of weeks and my daughter booked the hotel for me, she made sure that we had a kitchenette so we could cook our meals, and as she put it "it is awesome that we have access to a barbeque!" life it looking up!!

Yep, the best thing we did was to start with just us. It made the other changes happen naturally as the kids began choosing more and more things that Amy and I ate as opposed to the other stuff. So technically all the changes were inspired by them making better choices... Pretty crazy but awesome!

if it isn't there they don't eat it, mine are older and will go to the store to get it but that doesn't mean I have to eat. it is great when you can make changes in others but first helping yourself hence Selfish or selfless?!
