So 07/05/15 - Goodness this yeart is going fast. - My weekly check in.
So, I had an awesome weigh in this week. Down 2.8lbs! Boom!! However I then decided I wanted to celebrate this a little, and that we got our new car, so had a tasty meal and a few drinks. Okay, I went easy. I had 3 vodkas (but home measures) and spagetti and meat balls. We had turkey meat balls and I had a small portion of pasta. Pretty good for me. Then we had ice cream, Haagan Daz! Yummy!
But as I had given myself a day off from the gym yesterday, it took my body a while to get going this morning. But when it did I put thoses extra carbs from last night to work. Ran a 5k on the treadmill, it was set on road race level, so the incline adjusts a bit, keeps it interesting. I did it in exactly 40mins. I wanted to be under even if it was 1 sec, I really had to push at the end too when my legs were dead. Buuuut... I have shaved 53secs off my PB. Go Me!!
Got a long list of things to do today, this wasn't part of it so I better get cracking!
Plans for the week ahead.
Contuinue to eat healtly and listen to my body until next weigh in. Movie night Friday so gotta be careful, but I am so gonna eat the rest of that icecream.
Mix it up at the gym, weights and cardio. Might look at doing a class? Maybe? I get a bit scared of classes, so that's something I have gotta do.
Then I have a job I want to apply for so gotta update my CV today. But that is gonna take some courage! My husband really thinks it would be good for me, but I think he is just seeing the extra money. Plus doing the job I do atm I barely see him, Just a couple of evenings a week. And I start to miss him :-(
So I better get on with this job list or nothing will get done!! He he.
PS I just discovered Majool dates - wow them are yummy! Like eating toffee!
PPS I am pretty proud of how well I am sticking to this healthy eating, exercising and actualy loosing weight and getting my confidence back!
