OMG Jumping rope is such a love hate activity for me. On one hand, jumping the long rope as a kid is a great memory. On the other hand, fumbling and missing the rope and just realizing how out of shape I am is a total frustrating downer.

However, there are not a lot of aerobic exercises that are so inexpensive to get into that give the benefits so quickly. I know that if I spend 30minutes a day working on jumping rope for one week, I will see a huge change in my aerobic abilities and I expect to see a huge drop on the scales, but WOW, does it wear me out!
