So this weekend was pretty much on par with how I wanted this weekend to go, workout and food wise.  I planned everything, but had such a busy night Saturday I hoped that everything would go smoothly and the stress of it wouldn't derail my efforts that I put into eating healthy.

I had to drop off my car to get new brakes, and instead of having the nice shuttle service drive me to the gym, I put in my ear buds and ran the 2 miles there!  It was so muggy, but I powered through.  Basically because I knew once I got to the gym the air conditioning would be on FULL BLAST.  I did some heavy lifting in the power rack, and deadlifted 205 pounds!!  With a broken finger, that's awesome!  I use straps to help out my grip on that hand, but there's no way I'm going to stop lifting because of a stupid broken bone!   Ate so healthy, then did Jillian Michael's 30 day shred, took a nap, then headed out to my league's roller derby bout.

The B and C team were playing that night, and since I'm on the A team, I got to just do odd jobs that needed to be done.  And one of the odd jobs was annoucing the bout!  So I got to talk into a microphone the entire first bout, which was fun.  I avoided everything at the bake sale table (I know I can eat this stuff, but my problem right now is moderation!  I start with one, I'll eat the whole table!) and felt pretty good with myself.

One of the girls from the A team was getting married that day, but since we had a bout the A team couldn't be there at the wedding with her.  So we decided to crash the reception after the bout was over.  Well, someone had the most wonderful idea to have everyone get assigned a different person from the team, and go pick out an outfit from the thrift store for them to wear!!  My person who picked out the outfit for me got me a skirt and matching jacket covered in sequins with an animal print top.  I included a picture to see, because this outfit was so amazing I just had to share!

On the way to the wedding though, disaster struck!  All my food that I had packed to be healthy for dinner, was left in my fridge at home!  And I could feel the hunger really making me headachey, sleepy, just miserable.  So my friend and I stopped by Culvers.  I was freaking out...I was supposed to avoid fast food!!  Then I ordered a grilled chicken sandwhich with a side salad, which was delicious, and fit into my calories for the day!  This is not something I'm going to make a habit of, because it didn't fit into my macros and the sodium was ridiculous, but I'm glad one thing happening this weekend didn't derail me.

Plus, I probably burned it all off with all the dancing that was done at the wedding reception that night.
