Week 1 is already coming to an end!!  How did everyone do?  Hope everyone is staying on point with their diet and fitness.  Here's how I did and how I think I can improve. 

As for my diet, I think I ate pretty well. During the week, I ate small portions when I was hungry and stayed away from sweets. This is good. I know I could use some more veggies, so thanks to my pals who commented on my last post, I will be picking up some frozen veggies and healthy snacks at Trader Joe's tomorrow :)  Over the weekend I slacked a little bit. BUT, I reallllly limited the portion of these sinful foods. I consider this a success. For instance, I had one piece of pizza at dinner with some friends on Friday. Normally I would have about 3. At a concert last night, I only had one hotdog for dinner. Normally I would eat way more, especially at a concert.  However, I had two cups of beer. I know this is bad but it was a little treat. I hardly ever drink beer anymore so I was ok with that. Also, I probably walked a good mile or 2 at that concert and danced my feet off. So I probably worked off one of the beers!

Now, I didn't hit the gym at all this week except for a short round with weights today. I plan to go hard next week and maybe work off a few more pounds. 

All things considering, I lost a pound this week! If I can stick to the same diet this coming week but exercise more I think I can shake off a few more lbs!
