So after doing really well on DietBet, meeting my weight goal last year and promising myself that I'd maintain, well, I haven't. I've had a few unexpected challenges in the past few months and some bad habits crept back in. Not enough activity and too many treats led to too many pounds gained! I'm also hopefully on the tail end of another bout of sinusitis etc., not fun, but at least no predisone this time (that totally bloats and messes with my system).
Today when I saw an email from a friend asking about DietBet, I took it as a signal to get myself on track and to get back to doing the things that I know help. I probably can't exercise for a few days still but I can begin by drinking lots of water and attending to my food intake!
