As you may or may not have guessed from my profile, I am aiming to eat a Ketogenic diet. There are many different ways for people to eat, and this is the one I like best. I mostly eat vegetables, meats, cheese, and healthy fats and limit sugars and carbs.
I spent the last few days getting my food diary going on MFP, and as I am out of town from today until Friday, I packed lots of keto-friendly snacks to bring with me. I also prepped 4 shakes just in case there were no meals I could have. (The meals are provided and are pre-set.)
The monkey wrenches today are that I forgot to put most of the shakes in my bag, that my choice of dinner foods was limited, and I was not able to maintain my macros for the day. Then I did some extra walking, which exacerbated my back and hip injuries. Doh!
But that's not enough to throw me. I have been able to plan ahead for breakfast, can use the one shake I do have if lunch doesn't work out food wise, and have located the nearest grocery store which is a 40 minute walk. I can get in some good exercise, grab some replacement food for the shakes that I forgot. I was able to find some acetaminophen and will get my physio stretches done before bed, and will just keep on keeping on.
