My unofficial weigh in this Monday morning is 163.8.  While this is great news, and what most would consider healthy weight loss, I can't help but feel a tad bummed when I read that other members in the group have already lost 6 lbs in their first week.  If I made that much progress, I would already have won my part of the diet bet.  Then I have to remind myself that my weightloss issues are not their weightloss issues.  They may have more to loose than I do.  My loss is not insignificant.  I only have 5 lbs to go.  I've been drinking more water this week, and stayed away from the soda.  I have made some great headway in eating healthier and cooking more.  I have increased my cardio.  So, rather than looking at others' results, I am going to focus on what will help me continue loosing weight.

Goals

I am going to incorporate more weightlifting into my workouts.  Cardio alone isn't going to cut it.

I still need to work on upping my veggie and fruit intake.  I rely on carbs too much.

While I made progress with the sugars, I still need to watch it- I had a bottle of smart water at a movie instead of soda, but that thing had 39 g of sugar.

I need to keep up with the food logs- I did not track my weekend very well.
