Happy Thursday!
I am one week into my plan (see my blog on January 5th) and am actually enjoying it so far! Hard to believe. Maybe it is the fact that I am seeing some results. Maybe it is because I have been here before (fairly recently) and so am not feeling the "poor pitiful me" attitude about what I can't have.
That's it... attitude!
I realize that I am not alone, that as we age, there are things we are not going to like but have to deal with, and we have to accept them and move on. It could be so much worse. The fact that I can't have that slice of pizza or that piece of bread with dinner or that second glass of wine, is really pretty trivial in the big picture.
What I can have is a healthier happier body and therefor a healthier happier life. I would trade that for all the pizza in the world!
I'm also doin gok with the food tracking, which I have never gone this long tracking everyday before! The WW site and phone app are actually not too hard to track with. And it gets easier as you get used to it and start putting your favorites and recipes in.
Am I just feeling this way because it is still new? Maybe. But I sure am going to grab it and hold on to it while it lasts!
Here's my progress, so far... 7 days in.
Lost 2.1% body weight
Put in 4 strength workouts (my ski workout plan!) and feeling stronger!
