Finally the scale is going back down. However, my plan to get back to walking 20,000 steps a day are being dashed by Mr. Weather! gggrrr! THIS WILL NOT STOP MY PROGRESS!
Try something new!
(1) Hubs loves playing games on the xbox to work up a great sweat. I usually don't play and when I do, I can't remember ever working up a sweat. This weekend, I am going to find an xbox game that I can sweat to!
(2) Weeks ago we found a rockclimbing place nearby. When I say 'found' I don't actually mean we went there nor checked it out. Heck we didn't even call the place! But we did find it.. on the computer... in a groupon... This weekend we will get in the car and drive there and at the very least walk into the building.
(3) The YMCA in a close town to us has an indoor swimming pool. We know this. We used to love water aerobics so much when we lived in Florida (indoor water aerobics!). And it was not unusual for us to take two or more classes in a single day! This weekend we will drive by that YMCA and check out their indoor pool. I don't know why the YMCA in our town doesn't have an indoor pool for the winter, but it doesn't.
(4) WATER - this isn't new, but it isn't something I have been tracking either. Starting today, I am going to track my water and make sure I am drinking half my body weight in water ounces! Writing it down and that is above other liquids like coffee and tea. Pure water!
I am going to stop here because that is FOUR things I am planning to do starting today! Fingers crossed those lifestyle changes will reflect in a good change on the scale by Monday.. ok by Wednesday weigh in!
