Down another 1.8 lbs! Another player mentioned she loves this part of the weight loss journey when you cut out most of the carbs and the pounds just fall off. Me too. lol. But I feel like at this point things are going to slow down substantially. I'm back where I was at the end of my last Dietbet, and I've technically hit my goal weight for this game, but I'm far from done. About 5 more to go! And it's going to be interesting as I start gaining muscle...
Yesterday was a complete success. Got my morning walk in and then spent 1.5 hours on the elliptical. My calorie intake was 1,134. Made ratatouille for dinner, which was delicious and so low cal. Usual breakfast for dinner, salad for lunch with the husband (who is also making considerable progress!). He may or may not have broken down and went out for a Boston Market chicken sandwich in the evening... but not me. lol. I really am proud of how well he's doing. Worked out after he got off work yesterday and still managed to stay under 1500 calories, chicken sandwich notwithstanding. We woke up and went for our walk again today, and we'll be doing this running of the bridges tonight - 3.5 miles. I'm so not ready for that. But run (/walk) we will!
I'm probably going to increase the calorie intake a bit today because of the run later. I don't wanna pass out or hurt myself. And while the weight has dropped easily these last few days, it doesn't mean I'm in shape. And I really want to be able to run the whole thing without stopping again. Just a couple of years ago I was running it every week! That's where I'd like to be again :)
