I'm excited about the motivation of this dietbet. My weight tends to go up and down, and I lost about forty pounds last fall, but I find the scale creeping up again thanks to stress eating, and I want to prevent the creep and get lower. Then all of my fun clothes will fit again! I have some trips coming up (including to a spa!) and I want to wear a cute Halloween costume, both of which would be better without weight self-consciousness.
Right now, I'm less attached to my weight and more to staying on my plan. I know that my "formula" works and will keep me on track and bring the scale down. Counting calories and working out is a great combination for me! Today's challenge: spending the day with friends and losing control of where and what we will all be eating. Drat! My motivation is high and I have a plan in place: Starbucks protein pack for lunch, dinner will be a salad and wine (you can get that anywhere), and a 2-3 hour bike ride tomorrow with a friend. Onward and upward...or downward on the scale, in this case!
