One observation: You are fearing for your life. Why is that a good thing? A person with a severe depression usually stops doing that. You're on a slippery slope, in the midst of an ongoing tornado, but you still fear for your life. In all of the mess, that force is still deep inside of you. Nobody was able to break that will to live. So put your mind on auto pilot and keep trudging forward, no matter how you feel. You have a plan, make a conscious choice to follow it. Sometimes it's day to day, but that adds up to many months eventually. When I was very sick, my plan was simply: If I wake up again tomorrow, I will keep putting one foot in front of the other. Figuratively speaking, they had to teach me to walk again first ;-) I knew that plan was above all else, no matter how I felt. Do the same. If the voice is still inside of you, after all this, you know you can trust it. The will to live will be there. Statistically, things might not look so good. But you're not a number. You're Reggie - and you will have plenty of time to worry, once it's too late. Until then, KEEP TRUDGING FORWARD. They did not understand why I made it through - but I did. Life can be unpredictable sometimes - also in a good way. Unlikely bad stuff has happened to you in the past. But you made it through your surgery last time, proof that unlikely good things happen, too. Your body is tougher than you give it credit for, just accept that fact and follow the plan, no matter how you
