I went to a workshop that had to do with food on Friday and Saturday. After lunch on Saturday we were directed into a sideroom where we were presented with a scale, similar to this one though not as gaudy, and were told to step on. "Oh hell," I thought, "I didn't sign up for this!" When I got on it said "Adorable". Now how could a person not enjoy that? So for today, when you hop on the scale imagine that it is really saying that you are adorable. It brightens everything.
After the scale we got to see this video from youtube. It made me think. 50 people, one question. It is amazing the differences in the responses between the adults and the kids. WHen did we lose this self acceptance? And by the way, acceptance doesn't mean that we are happy with who or what we are, it actually means that at this moment in time we accept ourselves as we are. http://tinyurl.com/m329dre
