It sounds like today is a half empty day. I am feeling a little Pollyanna-ish today so. Congrats on benching 225 lb for 20 reps. That is awesome. Congrats for being married for 28 years to someone it sounds like you still love very much. And how lucky your kids are to have a supportive parent that goes to their events. My mom never went to my sport events in high school. She was a single mom that had to work so I get it but I still remember the one time my brother was home and came to my cross country meet. Your kids will remember your actions. Keep on, keeping on.

Thanks, I had to look up Pollyanna. I am extremely happy with my life in general but I do always want more and I always feel like I could have done more. I think that is a good thing. You are correct about just being there for the kids and I did go to every event. My daughter would have swim meets all over the west coast and my wife and I would be there. Same with wrestling for my son. Both children graduated from ASU. My daughter went into the Navy Reserves and was elected school board member at the age of 23. My son is going into the Navy next year. Like you, my parents were not there much for me when I was young. I was raised by the best grandmother in the world.I fail at life all the time but failing makes you stronger. Trying something difficult is the only way to know what I can do.Again, I have no regrets about that life stuff. Just my weight.
