Okay, so the challenge hasn't started yet, and I haven't entered my starting weight yet so it doesn't really "count", but today I went to a party and though there were lots of snacks (and alcohol) right in front of me, I didn't have any. I only had sparkling water AND IT WASN'T TERRIBLE. I realize this might not sound like much, but this is a first for me.
I've been kind of thinking about how hard it might be to maintain a social life when so much of it ends up involves grabbing a bite or snacks, but tonight made me realize it's possible and I didn't really feel like I was missing out. I felt like I had a secret objective and no one even noticed I completed my secret mission.
And then I walked until I had over 10K steps and met my calorie goal. Tiny achievement unlocked!
