I've been fighting a cough for the last couple weeks. I finally went to the doctor and it's an upper respiratory infection. So they gave me some meds to help with the cough but I will just have to let it runs it's course. So I've been trying to find the motivation to work out. lifting weights has always been easier and more fun for me, it is the cardio I struggle with. And with my cough I really don't want to go for a jog. But tomorrow I will just do it. I am setting my alarm for 5am and I am hitting the gym early before work so I start my day off right! This way if work goes long or something comes up I am already done! I am doing better with the diet too. Started eating more whole foods and raw veggies. As a side note... cucumber water with some lemons is amazing!
I'm so happy I joined these bets because this is going to hold me accountable and keep me motivated when I want to take the easy way out and order pizza for dinner or pick up some fast food. I know I need to exercise along with a decent diet too so my goal to start is 4 days a week. Ultimately I plan to do 6 days a week but I am making little changes at first. This way I know I will succeed and I won't get too down on myself. This weekend if the weather holds I want to go for a hike or something. I love the outdoors and cannot wait for warmer weather now that Christmas is over! Maybe by the summer I will want to wear a swimsuit! :)
