Hey everyone! So I went and played a bit in the Olympic National Forest today and had a blast in the snow! Got a little bit of exercise in and it didn't even feel like it! I'm hoping I can do some fun outdoors stuff every weekend! Now that the holidays are over I am so looking forward to Spring... Longer days and warmer weather! I'm even more motivated and inspired to get into better shape so I can enjoy more activites without getting tired, or to not skip activities entirely because I don't want to put on a swim suit. I did splurge a bit tonight though. We ordered pizza to eat while we watched the Seahawks win! I only had 2 slices though so I guess I wasn't as bad as I could of been. I don't want to feel too deprived with my diet because if I do then I always end up binging and making it even worse! I've read that a cheat meal now and then is actually good for you in the long run to help with metabolism (re-feed) and also a good psychological boost. I like a lot of healthy foods too, but sometimes I just want some good junk food to indulge myself. But tomorrow is a new day! And that means back to eating better.. I'm thinking tilapia and spinach with rice. If it's not raining I'll go for a jog outside too. If not, then treadmill and dumbbells it is. Happy Saturday all! :)
