I lost 2.8 lbs over night! Yesterday I ran a 5k, ate 2 eggs for breakfast, zoodles with tomatoes for lunch, and KFC FOR DINNER! I kid you not! I volunteer as a group therapist for adults recovering from eating disorders, and they had KFC and girl scout cookies for dinner. I eat what they eat, and I should be able to eat the meals since I have been fully recovered for the past 5 years. I never have trouble completing the meals and I am glad I ate a balanced day coupled with great exercise. If I can eat KFC, girl scout cookies, and drink juice for dinner and still manage to lose 2.8 lbs over night; this shows me that my body weight is way over my set weight.
Yesterday I calculated how much extra I would be burning if I rank four 5k/week and I should end up losing an extra 1/2 lb/week. So my new goal for the first four weeks is to lose 2.5 lbs/week. If I manage that I am going to buy myself a fitbit! Here's to an optimistic week and month of losing 10 lbs by March 26th!
