Wow, today was tough! I wanted a sweet treat before/during/after lunch today, YES, all three times! AH! However, I resisted!! 

 

Yesterday I drank a gallon of water again and today I'm over half way there...eating clean has made me feel better but is SO tough to follow. I am trying my best though and just hoping I see results soon. I have lost 3.4lbs so far so that's definitely a WIN. 

 

When I lose motivation I try to do a couple of different things, here's a list of what I try:

 

1. Pin lots of CUTE outfits (for work & otherwise) on Pinterest and go through them when I'm having a craving of something. I really want to start dressing like I care again so this definitely stops the urge of making poor choices.

 

2. I take 5 deep breathes in & out before eating anything...this really helps me enjoy the process of eating and definitely keeps me mindful.

 

3. I read recently something that has stuck with me to help me drink so much water, it went something like this: We take a shower daily and wash our external bodies with water to feel clean and fresh and just like that we must clean our interior bodies by washing them out by drinking water daily. (AND believe me when I tell you you are literally WASHING IT OUT every 10 minutes, bye bye toxins).

 

4. Remind myself of upcoming events. Annual Physical (yes, standing on the scale is more painful than the pap-smear), 30th birthday (leaving all this baggage behind in my twenties), vacation with my honey, and holiday fun. I WANT TO LOOK GOOD DAMMIT.
