The power of TV (and it's not good)

I had a great day yesterday - ate healthy and exercised for 30 minutes. Not perfect, but better than many other days.

Imagine my suprise then when I almost called to have a Pizza delivered at 11:00 PM because Trevor Noah had a skit about Pizza in Chicago. I was full before the skit started and then not full at all.

Fortunately, most pizza places close at 11:00 PM on week nights so I couldn't put my thoughts into actions but it was amazing to me how much I was willing to do to get pizza.

I guess fate comes in many forms and last night it was the fact that my town eats by 6:00 PM during the week so nothing was open!

Oh man! The temptations!!! I'm glad you were able to resist (even if it was only because they closed!). It's great that you recognized this behavior isn't going to get you to your goal. Do you have any plans of action for next time you get a late-night craving?

I wish I did - I think next time turn off the TV as soon as I sense the idea forming. If I go read a book and drink water the craving goes away - at least that's a plan that could work!
