Have you ever been surrounded by people who are able to lose weight but you can't stick to it?

In the past, my weight loss has always had more ups then downs. I've never really giving it 100%, it was always 30%-50%. That's because donuts > weight loss. Now that I've joined DB, i feel more accountable because money is on the line. My $35 ante is now riding $55 in 3 bets. Money is a huge motivator for me not necessarily making big bucks but if I fail I lose money.

I feel great and motivated on days that I work out. I stay strict to dieting and the pounds come right off. But days I miss my workout, I don't fight temptation, I eat way over my calories. I lament of where would have I been had I worked out or if I ate healthy..I need to make a change.

I want to hear from you. What holds you back from dropping weight? What's you biggest hurdle or down fall? What motivates you to keep going - kicks you in the ass and gets you back on track? Does having a person to talk to help you lose weight?

Thanks for any input you care to share either publicly or friend and message me. I want to do a $10 kick-starter with a focus on meal plans, helpful tips,and setting a game plan for weight loss. I feel having a community on DB that's actively involved works well for me. I want to return the favor and be as supportive as possible.
