Life has dropped a gigantic pile of shit on me this last week and although I have thankfully not gained weight, I haven't lost any either. I don't want to use personal problems as an excuse (because fuck excuses) and even though I have hit a plateau, I'm determined to get my groove back.
Eating less than 1000 calories and excercising for 2+ hours per day is overwhelming af and if I try going hardcore then I will give up within 72 hours. Plus I am a big believer that slow and steady is the way to go, I am in no rush and despite the name of this app, I am not "dieting", I am altering my lifestyle.
A post by the very inspirational @fatgirlfedup reminded me that weight loss is about the little things, and that is what I intend to focus on right now. Here are some of my intententions...
- Swap 40 minutes of cardio for 60 minutes
- Swap beef for turkey
- Swap pop for flavoured water
- Swap spaghetti for courgetti
- Swap elevator for stairs
- Swap big plate for small plate
- Swap nighttime snack for breakfast
I am 100% determined to hit my next big milestone of 60kg and finally be a "healthy" BMI before my birthday (26th June). If I incorporate these positive changes into my lifestlye then I have no doubt that I will get there.
If anyone can think of some other suggestions of small changes I can make, please comment below!!
